For the purposes of subsection 47A(1) of the Sex Discrimination Act 1984 (as amended by this Schedule): (a) it is immaterial whether the act was committed before, at or after the commencement of this item; and (b) so far as that subsection relates to an act committed before the commencement of this item, that subsection is modified by inserting ', and is taken to have been unlawful,' after 'unlawful'.
