  • (1) The Minister may terminate the appointment of an Advisory Committee member:
  1. (a) for misbehaviour; or
  2. (b) if the Advisory Committee member is unable to perform the duties of the office because of physical or mental incapacity.
  • (2) The Minister may terminate the appointment of an Advisory Committee member if:
  1. (a) the Advisory Committee member:
  2. (i) becomes bankrupt; or
  3. (ii) applies to take the benefit of any law for the relief of bankrupt or insolvent debtors; or
  4. (iii) compounds with the member's creditors; or
  5. (iv) makes an assignment of the member's remuneration for the benefit of the member's creditors; or
  6. (b) the Advisory Committee member fails, without reasonable excuse, to comply with clause 3K or 3L (which deal with disclosure of interests).
  • (3) The Minister must terminate the appointment of an Advisory Committee member if the Advisory Committee member is absent, except on leave of absence, from 3 consecutive meetings of the Advisory Committee.
