(4) Before the Governor-General appoints a person as a Minimum Wage Panel Member, the Minister must be satisfied that the person is qualified for appointment because the person has knowledge of, or experience in, one or more of the following fields: (a) workplace relations; (b) economics; (c) social policy; (d) business, industry or commerce.
