This Part is about the jurisdiction and powers of the courts in relation to matters arising under this Act. Divisions 2 and 3 confer jurisdiction on the Federal Court and the Federal Magistrates Court. That jurisdiction is generally required to be exercised in the Fair Work Divisions of those courts. Division 4 deals with intervention, costs, limitation on imprisonment, and regulations, in relation to proceedings in the Federal Court, the Federal Magistrates Court and, in some cases, a court of a State or Territory.
