(1) A determination varying a national minimum wage order under section 296 comes into operation on the day specified in the determination. Note: For when a national minimum wage order comes into operation, see section 287. (2) The specified day must not be earlier than the day on which the determination is made, unless FWA is satisfied that there are exceptional circumstances that justify specifying an earlier day.
